What materials do we need?
Depending on the characteristics of the walls on your home you will need rawplugs (buy on Amazon or Screwfix), screws (buy on Amazon or Screwfix) and/or a plasterboard fixings (buy on Amazon or RS-Online).
Hangboard installation instructions
Concrete or brick walls
Mounting on concrete or brick wall requires at least 6 mount points. At least 4 of the mount points should be on the upper part of the board. You need no. 6 8mm row plugs for concrete or brick along with 6 screws with diameter at least 4.5mm and length at least 60mm. With the help of a friend position the board on the wall and mark the mount points on the wall using one of the screws. Use a drill to make 6 holes with a drill bit 8mm and insert the plugs. Put the hangboard its position and fix it to the wall using the screws.
Wood walls
Mounting on a wooden wall requires at least 6 mount points. At least 4 of the mount points should be on the upper part of the board. You need no. 6 screws with diameter at least 4.5mm. With the help of a friend position the board on the wall. Start fixing the screws one by one preferably from the opposite sites on the board. Make sure the board is leveled both horizontally and vertically and is not tilted forward.
Plasterboards
Mounting on plasterboard wall requires at least 8 mount points. At least 5 of the mount points should be on the upper part of the board. You need no. 8 plasterboard fixings for plasterboard along with 8 screws with diameter at least 4.5mm. With the help of a friend position the board on the wall and mark the mount points on the wall using one of the screws. Screw the plasterboard fixings on the market positions. Put the hangboard on its position and fix it to the wall using the screws.
